Image Gallery: Sarah's 24th Birthday Party
This year, Sarah's birthday landed on Labor Day. Rather than celebrate her birthday on her ACTUAL birthday, I thought I'd "throw her off" by having a Muppet-themed party for her on Saturday. I know... you don't have to tell me... I'm a creative, sneaky guy! As the Fonz says, "Ayyyyy!" with thumbs up in the air.
Before the party, I piled up some decorations in my shopping cart at Wal*Mart (ugh) and brought everything home, only to find that it looked like I hadn't purchased much in the first place. I don't know if that's how it normally goes, but I was, frankly, a little scared that the house would look underdone. Luckily, some friends of ours came to the rescue, namely Sue and Thea. I cannot thank them enough for all the hard work they put into decorating the house for the party.
Furthermore, I can't thank Annmarie enough for the awesome Muppet cake she made. Nice job, Annmarie! Thanks to everyone who made it a good surprise!
