If you've ever driven from Phoenix to Sedona, Prescott, Flagstaff, or anywhere north via I-17, you've likely see Kid Chilleen's Steakhouse. What's that? It doesn't sound familiar?
Oh yeah, you might know it as the Bad A$$ BBQ.
Every time Sarah and I have driven by it over the last couple of years, I've said that I want to eat there. Well, my birthday came around and I thought I could test my friends' loyalty by having them drive 60+ miles out to this restaurant in the middle of nowhere (actually, it's in Black Canyon City). Many of them exceeded my expectations. It was wonderful.
If you were there, thank you again for traveling. I really, sincerely appreciate your friendship.

Latticework
Restaurants with latticework between the kitchen and the dining room are always delicious. Also, this place had two electric wires running across the ceiling where halogen lights were attached via alligator clips and bare wire. Awesome.
